Summer Events
Check out "Upcoming Events" to see what we are doing this summer! Some events that we will be doing include:
On Friday, July 16, we will be spending the day at the Cultus Lake Waterslides. The cost is $20 per student and it will be from 9am to 5pm. If you would like to go, please sign up with Reuben and bring your money and Activity Release Form the day of (go to "Downloads" page).
On August 7, we will be going to Rock the River - order your tickets through Reuben. Check out their website!
From August 19-22 we will be going to Kelowna to camp on Lake Okanogan. If you would like to come, download your registration here and hand it in by Sunday August 8.
We are a group of young people from Westwinds Community Church who get together on a regular basis for one reason: THE GREATEST CAUSE ON EARTH. It is the incredible message of how Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came and gave up his own life so that we can live!
This message has changed our lives so much that we get together learn how to live out the cause. That is why our modo is LIFE CHANGING LIFE. Jesus changed our lives and we want to change the lives of others. This is done through building relationship with Jesus and each other, by learning to love our friends and community, and by thanking God through music and service.

As Christians, part of our CAUSE is to love and serve the people in our community and our world. This is who we serve and support to fulfill that:
Joel and Brandi are going to be doing missions in India starting the summer of 2010.
David is our sponsor child from Haiti. We have been supporting him for over 4 years.
We serve the city of Surrey by picking up litter in the neighbourhood around the church.
We are taking a missions trip to Cape Breton in the summer of 2010.
